McLoughlin logo, incorporating a flying Mother Goose, on t.p. verso.
"Contents" on p. [3-4] organized as alphabetical index of stories.
Text in 2 cols.
Illustrations: Chromolithographed frontis., and black-and-white ills. throughout the text, many signed by André (includes the same ills. as Cotsen #94128, but includes additional ills. for a greater no. of stories).
McLoughlin's 1928 catalog lists a similar vol., as #2755, also with "heavy board covers printed in colors and cloth backs," but with 288 pages (p. 29).
Binding note
Pub. paper-covered bds., upper with pictorial chromolithograph of "The Goose Girl" by Noble Ives, and lower with patterned design in sage and white; sky-blue spine cloth, with title printed in black.
