Notes
Note explaining image: Dear Mr Cotsen, I thought since you are interested in children's books and illustrations you might be interested in this it is my twin sister and I in Berlin in 1941. It is in the archives of the U.S. Holocaust museum in Washington. Unusual because we look normal during those times as a Jewish Family my Parents are also in the picture. Regards Evelyn Pearl.
A photocopied image of a photograph showing two very young girls hugging one another as the mother leans down towards them and the father squats beside them.
Parents are obscured in image due to lighting and perhaps poor magnification.
