Notes
Cover title. Wrappers included in pagination.
Annenkov's avant garde illustrations and design provide the setting for this terrifying poem "... youth sacrificed, children with weapons ... houses in ruins, the lack of food, a parliament without chairs or tables. Images which haunt the author and of which he frees himself at quarter past eight. (The actual Russian translates as "A quarter of nine").
Publisher's list inside lower wrap lists four works by Natan Vengrov, as well as works by Remizov, Sof'ia Dubnova, Sergei Esenin, I. Sokolov-Mikiov, Evgenii Zamiatin, Uot Uitmen, and Mikhail Kuzmin.
Translated title: A Quarter Past Eight.
