  • Annenkov's avant garde illustrations and design provide the setting for this terrifying poem "... youth sacrificed, children with weapons ... houses in ruins, the lack of food, a parliament without chairs or tables. Images which haunt the author and of which he frees himself at quarter past eight. (The actual Russian translates as "A quarter of nine").
  • Publisher's list inside lower wrap lists four works by Natan Vengrov, as well as works by Remizov, Sof'ia Dubnova, Sergei Esenin, I. Sokolov-Mikiov, Evgenii Zamiatin, Uot Uitmen, and Mikhail Kuzmin.
