  • Box labels indicate that this is set No. 1 with the codeword Bingen, which, according to George Hardy, are manufactured no earlier than 1906 and no later than 1910.
  • Cotsen copy: Stones rearranged to match design on underside of lid, missing only 2 metal clasps for bridge parts, otherwise complete set with no breakages.
