The author's preface is dated January 31 1827.
Includes a section at end entitled "List of Books Published in Accordance with the Interrogative System of Useful and Liberal Education."
The folding engraved frontispiece is captioned "A Gymnastic Exercise Ground" and signed in the lower left-hand corner "Jas. and John. Neele sc. 353 Strand."
The preface attributes the lithographic plates to R. Seymour.
