• Illustrations: Engraved frontis., showing the exterior of the Juvenile Library, and 5 other plates within the text, including 2 depicting the interior and others showing people reading; 3 plates dated July, 1805 by Tabart.
• Some of the narrative is presented in the form of a dialogue (cf. Tabart's Visit to a Farm), in which many Tabart titles are discussed
