  • A verse adaptation by the Taylors of the earlier chapbook, The World Turned Upside Down, at the commission of Sir Richard Phillips (cf. Ann Taylor's Autobiography, cited by Alderson & Moon).
  • Verse introduction and 9 individual poems are signed with "A" (Ann), 11 signed "J" (Jane), 2 "T" (Isaac?) with 2 unsigned (cf. Moon).
