  • The center section has an alphabet in italic capitals; "Lesson I," a table of 15 two-syllable words arranged in three columns; a vignette of a house; and Arabic numerals from 1 to 0 arranged in a line; right section has 8 engraved vignettes of animals, arranged in 2 columns: leopard, horse, tiger, and camel; bear, lion, wolf, and stag; thin, single-ruled border around all 3 sections.
