Notes
  • The titles are taken from the upper panels.
  • From Crimean War period. The Cossack is depicted as huge, hairy, ferocious barbarian with legs like small tree trunks, while the French soldier is portrayed as tall, slim but powerful with small chiselled features, a smart mustache and hair cut.
  • The transformation works on the same principle as a Jacob's ladder. When all the panels are extended, the object measures 42.5 cm.
