Atrributed to Jenner by Moon.
Dedication signed by "the author," in which he likens himself and his story to a "football at your feet" (p. 3-4), followed by a preface "To the Readers" (p. 5-13) in which he asks for a careful reading.
Includes a section (p. 24-28) in which Jenner relates the series of childhood accidents and nursing blunders which left him crippled for life.
Illustrations: Engraved frontis. (showing the author as a boy reading at a book stall) and mezzotint self-portrait facing p. 91, which shows the author as a stunted adult.
