Notes
Inscription: W. Tennant Del. H Dawkins Sculp. / A North-West Prospect of Nassau-Hall, with a Front View of the Presidents House, in New-Jersey.
Frontispiece for: An Account of the College of New-Jersey (Woodbridge, N.J., 1764),
Ex has 2 copies of the Dawkins print and one of the Doolittle (View of Nassau Hall, Princeton) all in enclosure with spine title: Nassau Hall / Doolittle and Dawkins prints.
Artist information: Tennent was probably either William Mackay Tennent (1744-1810), a member of the Class of 1763, or William Tennent (1740-1777), of the Class of 1758. As William Mackay Tennent would have been in Princeton in 1763, he is the more likely.
Copy 3 of the Dawkins print (in excellent condition) available at the University Archives, see, for digital image, URL https://findingaids.princeton.edu/catalog/AC177_c56774-74800
