Summary note
Journal of a European tour, kept by F. Trower who was taking his first continental tour with the family (father, mother, eldest sister, Mr. Winter, the hon. Fred. Trower Jr., courier and maidservant). They traveled from England to Antwerp, Dresden, Vienna, the Tyrol, and Venice and returned by Milan, leaving F. Trower at boarding school at Bellerive in Vevey, Switzerland. Entries date from July to September 20th, 1857.
