Notes
Parts contained in a folder of later date, with the following description written on the front of the outside flap in the hand of Ernst Rudorff: "Mappe la B. Origin: Written in Leipzig in 1725; first performed 29 July 1725.

The Scheide set includes ten of the parts: Soprano (copied by Kuhnau and Meissner), Hautb: d'Amour I and II, Violino Imo, Violino 2do, Viola (all copied by Kuhnaus and Meissner with annotation by J. S. Bach), continuo (untransposed in B minor, copied by Kuhnau with figures throughout copied by J. S. Bach), continuo (duplicate part, untransposed without figures, copyist 2), continuo (transposed to A minor with figures for the recitative movements 2 and 4, copied by Johann Heinrich Bach, likely the figures as well), and continuo (duplicate, transposed to A minor without figures, copyist 3)
Cover title supplied from Marshal, R. L., ed. Johann Sebastian Bach, p. 113 (from the original cover now joined with another set manuscript parts held at the Berlin Staatsbibliothek Preussicher Kulturbesitz), mus. ms. Bach St 90.
