        • Six unnumbered manuscript leaves ruled with 8, 20, 12, 10, and 20 staves, respectively.
        • French title written on leaf [1] recto in a later hand.
        • Composition date based on the Beethoven Werkverzeichnis, v. 1, pp. 661-62; v. 2, p. 809; and Johnson, Beethoven sketchbooks, p. 535. Incorrect date "early 1819" written in pencil on the upper left margin of leaf [1] recto.
