  • Layout: single column of 17 lines, but 18 lines on fols. 90v and 91r; ruled in lead point.
  • Decoration: historiated initials (fols. 1r, 7v, 20r, 23v, 26r, 28r, 30r, 32r, 36r, 52r, and 74v).
  • Origin: Written and illuminated in Southwest England, probably at Exeter, for use there, as indicated by the inclusion of St. Affra in the Litany (fol. 48).
Binding note
17th century. Brown morocco, probably French, gilt-tooled with fleurs-de-lis and demi-lions (winged) on the spine.
