A genealogy of Christ and a universal history, ending with Clement VI, Pope, and Henry VI, Emperor. Followed by a list of popes from St. Peter to Pope Clement VI (1302) and a list of emperors from Julius Caesar to the Holy Roman Emperor Henry VI of Luxemburg (1311 AD).

  • Decoration: 1 large miniature depicting the Fall of Man, cosmological figure of earth surrounded by celestial bodies; 2 views of Noah's Ark; 4 city views including Babylon and Rome; liturgical utensils, tabernacle, Ark of the Covenant; wheel-like figure with the names of the tribes of Judah; and illuminated medallions with names (e.g. Christus Puer and "David").
  • Origin: Written and illuminated in northern Italy, probably at Udine, by a Tyrolese miniaturist.
