Summary note
Autograph manuscript of the poem on Edward II (581 numbered stanzas). Together with another poem (5 leaves), in a different hand, titled "Vpon ye death of a Pigeon slaine by a fowler on a plowed land in an Aprill morninge," dated 1615.
Notes
A surreptitious edition issued in 1628 has the title "The Deplorable Life and Death of Edward the Second," and later authorized edition issued in 1629 with title "The Historie of Edward the Second," and in 1631 with title "The Historie and Raigne of Edward the Second."
