  • Consists of approximately 100 miscellaneous eighteenth-century French documents.
  • The collection consists of approximately 100 miscellaneous 18th-century French documents. The bulk are engrossed copies of notarial documents (1770-1789) concerning land titles and rents in the parish of Saint Christophe, Tours. Many of the documents were prepared by François-Claude Bigot and François Solomon, public notaries in Tours. Also included is a record book of financial recepts and livestock lists (1815-1816). Also present is a document, signed by Louis XIV, in favor of Pierre Vaillant.
