Woodcut illus. in the issues for May 20th and 27th, June 3d, July 22d, and August 5th, and head-piece (which is the same for each number) by G. Cruikshank.
Cruik copy contains an original drawing.
"The balance of power," title written in ink by G. Cruikshank above the drawing, and beneath it, "The emperor putting his foot in it." On the side of the drawing is a very characteristic and bold signature, "Geo. Cruikshank." On the opposite side of the page is a large signature "George Cruikshank."
