The original manuscript (now in Baylor university) has title: Deplorabile et enpio omicidio conmesso in Roma da Guido Franceschini et quattro altri conpagni, in persona di Pietro Conparini, e Violante Perruzzi coniugi, et Violante Ponpilia creduta figlia delli medemi, e moglie del sud Franceschini. Seguita a 2 di gen. 1698 di sera. Con la giustitia degli uccisori seguita li 22 di febraro del sud. anno. Regnante Innocenzo Duodecimo.
