Licenses dated 1746.
The edition of 1746 with title "Arte de la lengua huasteca," as quoted by Ludwig, Lit. of Amer. aborig. lang., p. 83, and by Viñaza, Bibl. españ. de lenguas indíg. de Amér. no. 323, cannot have existed, since the author in his dedicatory letter to the archbishop and in his preface states that although the licenses for printing were issued in 1746, the printing of the book had to be delayed until the archbishop ordered it printed at his expense.
