Better known under title: Advancement of learning. An expanded translation was first published in 1623 under title: De dignitate et augmentis scientiarum, becoming afterward better known as De augmentis scientiarum.
Errors in paging but text is continous.
Princeton copy 2 Ex copy has contemporary annotations, some trimmed during binding.

Princeton copy 2 Ex copy: Contemporary calf with arms of Thomas Preston (1600-1679) stamped in blind on covers. Red morocco titlepiece with 'Bacons Advance of Learn' in gilt. Edges stained red. In protective case.
