    One story is about an 1888 escapade of one member of Chief Charlot's Bitterroot band of Flatheads it illustrates the problems of some members of the community before they were removed. Another story talks about John W. Silverthorne's finding gold in the Bitterroot. It mentions Antoine Plant and Francois "Benetsee" Finley and the Flatheads having some gold.
