For choir use by an unidentified church dedicated to St. Dionysius in the Diocese of Münster. With Hufnagel notation on four-line staves.

Calendar for March-December (fol. 1a-5b). Musical notation in different hand (fol. 146a-146b). Inscriptions in red on pastedowns.
Collation: Parchment ; fol. 146 ; modern foliation in pencil.
Layout: 25 lines per page ; interspersed lines of musical notation.
Description: MS in fair condition, pages are darkened with some text worn and illegible.
Decoration: 6-8 line initials of red and blue on foliate background of red and green. Occasional smaller initials with similar decoration and regular1-2 line initials alternating red and blue.
Origin: Northern Rhine, Westphalia after 1389.
Binding note
Stamped leather over wooden boards (12 mm thick). Blind-tooled floral outer frame, foliate inner frame, and 3 oval IHS stamps. Endbands. 2 metal catchplates on upper board; two leather loops on lower board attached with 3 metal rivets each.
