"The purpose of the study is to highlight that the most vulnerable population groups across India access and benefit from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets and indicators in the true sense of 'leave no one behind and a life with dignity', and thereby pave the way for India to achieve SDGs and global achievement. The government of India at the highest levels have welcomed the SDGs, and there are positive efforts to align the national and state development plans and schemes with the SDGs."
