Summary note

This dissertation investigates the childhood and living conditions of Kaiowá and Guarani indigenous children with disabilities in villages of the Greater Dourados Region, seeking to map social policies and access to health and education in the villages of Dourados and Paranhos. It examines how these communities view and deal with disability, analyzing the representations and challenges faced by families. The study uses qualitative ethnographic research and document analysis to understand cultural perspectives and evaluate public policies related to the health and education rights of indigenous children with disabilities.
