Summary note
Rediscover some of the greatest scores in the history of Hollywood in this magnificent gala concert given in 2022 at the Copenhagen Symphony Hall. On this occasion the National Symphony Orchestra of Copenhagen is led by conductor Ludwig Wicki, who in 1999 created the 21st Century Orchestra-an ensemble of around 150 musicians specializing in film music. The programme is composed of unforgettable melodies from masterpieces of Hollywood cinema: music from Moulin Rouge, Jurassic Park, Superman, Gladiator, Titanic and other legendary films making for a magical evening. The stars of the event, Andrea Lykke Oehlenschlæger and Diluckshan Jeyaratnam, paint the most perfect Hollywood skyline through their exquisite singing in these original arrangements.
