Summary note
A source of comprehensive, timely and objective campaign finance and lobbying information. Helps the user analyze the flow of money through the political system by providing campaign donation and expenditure data from the 1979-80 election cycle through the most recent filings. Includes daily news briefs on campaign finance, lobbying and ethics in government; financial profiles of presidential, House and Senate candidates, PACs, non-profit 527 groups, and lobbying firms; information on individual and PAC contributions to candidates; and facts and figures on lobbyists. PAC and lobbyist registrations and e-filed campaign finance data are updated daily; other information is updated weekly or as it becomes available.
