A file containing the annual review of Berlin for 1980 by the commandant of the British sector, David Mostyn. Subjects covered in the review include a good year for West Berlin's economy -- a bad year for the West Berlin Senate and the governing mayor, Dietrich Stobbe -- the effects of a deterioration in East German-West German relations -- a strike on the railways -- a good year for British relations with Berlin -- and uncertainty over the future in Berlin. The file also includes comments by the British ambassador in Bonn, Oliver Wright -- and a calendar of key events in Berlin during the year.
