This protocol had been signed under the framework of a long-term trade agreement, and would see Yugoslav imports of vehicles, agricultural machinery, electrical equipment, and textiles. Bulgaria would be importing agricultural equipment, baking machinery, and various electrical and transport equipment. The two countries would also exchange metals, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agricultural produce, and consumer goods.
