Summary note
A file of correspondence and reports concerning commercial and political relations between Albania and Greece. The documents cover reports that trade negotiations between the two countries are taking place -- and the subsequent signing of an unofficial Albanian-Greek trade agreement. Albanian exports are expected to include pork, timber, plastics, and alcohol. Greek exports are expected to include sheet iron, chemical products, medicines, fabrics, and consumer goods. Further commentary discusses political relations between the two countries -- the continuing state of war between them -- and concerns that any change in the status of political relations would mean the renunciation of Greece's claims on Northern Epirus.
