Summary note
A file of correspondence concerning political relations between Albania and Bulgaria. The correspondence discusses the limited political and diplomatic activity between the two countries -- and Albanian-Bulgarian commercial relations, including the signing of a five-year trade and payments agreement. Further commentary covers an agreement between consumer cooperatives in the two countries -- and developments in Albanian-Bulgarian cultural relations, which have seen little change since the withdrawal of the Albanian delegation from the first Balkan Film Festival at Varna.
