Summary note
A file of correspondence concerning commercial relations between Czechoslovakia and West Germany. The correspondence covers West German interest in opening a trade mission in Czechoslovakia -- and ensuing Czechoslovak press attacks on West Germany, directed against West German "claims" on West Berlin, West German territorial aspirations, and the West German stance on the validity of the Munich Agreement. The file also includes discussions on a Swiss press report claiming that a West German envoy had travelled to Prague in order to negotiate the opening of a trade mission, and that he carried a letter stating that the Germans considered the Munich Agreement null and void.
