Summary note
A file of correspondence and reports on criminal acts and prison camps in the Soviet Union. Subjects in the file include reports of an official in Azerbaijan who misappropriated funds to construct an impressive house, which was at odds with his financial status -- and information on Soviet prison camps obtained from a recently repatriated German army officer, who had been captured in Berlin and sentenced to twenty-five years' detention.
