Summary note
A file of correspondence and reports on Albanian-Turkish relations, with regard to a resolution at the United Nations. The documents note an apparent improvement in relations between the two countries following Albania's supporting of a Turkish resolution relating to human rights and minority rights in Cyprus. Further commentary notes that the Turkish mission in Tirana has been raised to embassy status -- and that a cultural protocol between the two countries was signed following a visit by a delegation from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
