Summary note
A file of correspondence concerning economic and scientific relations between Algeria and Czechoslovakia. The correspondence reports on the third session of the Algero-Czech Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, which took place in Algiers. Discussions during the meeting covered the possible supply of gas to Czechoslovakia from Algeria -- and the supply of Czechoslovak machinery to Algeria. Further commentary covers rumours that Algeria is unhappy with the balance of payments between the two countries, and is seeking to garner Czechoslovak interest in its industrial products.
