Summary note
Complete copy of the Qurʼān, written in cloudbands with ten sets of dual-page illuminations and marginal medallions some of which contain short recitation notes in Persian. Several leaves of ruled but unwritten paper precede and follow the text.
Notes
Decoration: Four sets of dual page illuminations with inner borders of pink and orange flowers and outer borders of gold and blue with blue finials (f. 1v-2r, 137v-138r, 302v-303r). Six sets of simpler dual page illuminations of gold foliate marginal fill with pink and orange flower text block border (f. 2v-3r, 51v-52r, 100v-101r, 181v-182r, 221v-222r, 257v-258r). Gold and blue illuminated headpiece on second opening (f. 2v). Text written entirely on cloudbands. Textblock border-ruled in gold and blue with page-opening ruled in gold and blue. Gold roundels mark verse endings. Rubrications in red including readings, text divisions, recitation notes and short sūrah titles. Full sūrah titles in white on gold cartouche with blue end fill. Marginal foliate medallions in blue and gold hold text partition markers, short recitation notes and rukūʻ markers.
Layout: 17 long lines with shortened sūrah titles every recto, upper left corner. Catchwords every verso, lower left. Textblock is border ruled and page-opening frame ruled.

Origin: Item is undated, but likely produced in the 18th century, in Iran.
Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized.
