Small, complete copy of the Qurʼān in a color-contrast inset paper technique.
Notes
  • Customs stamp solar dated 1312/1934 (f. 1r, 537v).
  • Decoration: Inset leaves so textblock is a lighter color; dual page illuminated first opening with the first sūrah written on a scalloped medallion lined in black with white flowers between each line, surrounding the medallion are flowers and vines in pink, purple, red, and green with an outside marginal illumination of a scalloped design chiefly in gold and blue with red, blue and purple flowers; sūrah headings are in a blue-lined rectangle, written in white ink lined in black on a gold background with polychrome vine and leaf designs; text divisions are marked by marginal medallions in gold and blue; verse endings marked by gold roundels; textblock border-ruled in gold and blue and page-opening frame-ruled in double black; readings in red.
