Decoration: Blue, gold, and red illuminated dual-page first opening (f. 1v-2r); gold roundels with pink and blue dots mark verse endings; sūrah headings in gold; textblock border-ruled in gold and blue.

Layout: Written in 11 long lines; catchwords every verso, lower left.

Origin: Copy completed by Burhān ibn Waḥīd, known as Zayn al-Dīn al-Khawāfī at the beginning of Jumādá al-Thānī in 944 A.H. (1537 CE) (f. 410r).
