Summary note
Complete section, containing the bismillāh and first word of 17 to the last word of 18. Folios 9 and 12 are a rewritten inserts in a different hand. A full page illumination seems to have been covered over or transferred by contact to f. 1r; small sections and a shadow are visible.

Arabic.
Decoration: Surah titles in gold outlined in black. Gold eight petal rosettes with pink center lined by pink and blue dots mark verse endings.

One volume of a Qur'ān set, of which RBML holds three volumes under separate shelfmarks; See also MSS Or. 257 and 258.
Origin: Item is undated, but perhaps copied in the 15th to the mid-16th century.
Script: Written in mamluk style naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized.
