Description: Receipts for monies paid out by the Treasurer, the manager of the English Stock whose duties included keeping the Stock accounts, looking after its paper and book stocks in the warehouse and organising printing of the books; many receipts consist of bills with receipt of payment added at a later date; some unreceipted bills are also included.
