Preface in German; introductory matter in Spanish. 504 Includes bibliographical references and index. 520 8 Critical edition of Ramon Llull's 'Ars ad faciendum et solvendum quaestiones.' This work by Ramon Llull, originally composed in Catalan (Art de fer e solre questions), was written in Rome in 1295. It is also known as 'Lectura super Artem inventivam et Tabulam generalem', as it attempts to make the "Ars inventiva veritatis" (op. 44) and "Tabula generalis" (op. 53) more approachable. In the prologue Llull expresses his wish for this work to be translated into Latin. It belongs to the so-called encyclopaedic writings in the Lullian production, and the author announces a thousand questions related mainly to theology. The present work aims to provide a general technique applicable to any subject, a practical usage of the "Ars inventiva veritatis" and the "Tabula generalis". In general, Llull develops some aspects dealt with in op. 44 and op. 53 in order to solve possible objections or to experiment with new procedures. It is another step in the great epistemological project of the Majorcan: to establish a new general science that overcomes the difficulties inherent in scholastic-Aristotelian science; to apply its method to the articles of the Christian faith and to create a universal scientific system as a solid basis for the other sciences. 650 0 Science |xPhilosophy |vEarly works to 1800. 650 0 Grammar, Comparative and general |xInterrogative |vEarly works to 1800. 650 0 Questions and answers |vEarly works to 1800. 600 00 Aristotle |xInfluence |vEarly works to 1800. 600 10 Llull, Ramon, |d1232?-1316. |tArt de fer e solre qüestions. 650 7 Grammar, Comparative and general |xInterrogative. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00946194 650 7 Influence (Literary, artistic, etc.) |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00972484 650 7 Questions and answers. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01085701 650 7 Science |xPhilosophy. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01108336 655 7 Early works. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01411636 700 1 Simó Artero, Joan Carles, |eeditor. |4edt 800 1 Llull, Ramon, |d1232?-1316. |tWorks. |kSelections (Opera Latina) |vt. 39. 830 0 Corpus Christianorum. |pContinuatio Mediaevalis ; |v301. 902 410077598 |wcopy |120220926085535.0 914 (OCoLC)on1225907861 |bOCoLC |cmatch |d20240508 |eprocessed |f1225907861 956 42 |uhttp://swbplus.bsz-bw.de/bsz1760558788inh.htm |3Table of contents
