• Princeton copy 1 Psalter only. With remaining text in 17th C. manuscript. Chancery octavo. 98 leaves (of 548, Psalterium only). Typ. 5:72G, 6:72G. The rest of the text was supplied in manuscript by Konrad Deufel 1601. Bound in 17th-century gilt-tooled calf over wooden boards, initials FWGH and date 1601, stamped lozenges of Virgin and Child and IHS on covers, brass corner pieces and catch plates, one brass clasp (the other lacking), edges stained blue, leather index tabs. Provenance: Elaine and Alexander Rosenberg, acquired from Lathrop C. Harper, Inc., New York July 1, 1957.--dealer's description.
