For that reason, Ohmi is closely tied to the history of political, cultural, social and economic development in Kyoto, and therefore Japan as a whole. Ancient Ohmi was first developed by immigrants from the Korean Peninsula and China and was a vital crossing point connecting Kyoto with eastern Japan. The intersection of the Nakasendo Road and the Tokaido Road was located within its borders. The vital traffic of people and goods led to the early development of organizations and individuals engaged in the concentrated delivery of vast quantities of products. Ohmi merchants can be considered the very source of Japanese-style management. The key concepts that they developed underpinned the success of Japanese corporations for generations. These include core concepts such as sanpo-yoshi or "three-way satisfaction" and corporate social responsibility (CSR), considering a third-person perspective, being a member of society, a healthy tension with society, customer satisfaction, contribution to society, the social consciousness of "good for the world", appropriate profits, avoid waste and give your all, the spirit of the peddler, faith and devotion, talent and innovation, leveraging information and investing in startup ventures"-- |cBack cover. 651 0 Shiga-ken (Japan) |xCommerce |xHistory. 650 0 Merchants |zJapan |zShiga-ken |xHistory. 650 0 Industrial management |zJapan |zShiga-ken |xHistory. 650 0 Success in business |zJapan |zShiga-ken. 651 6 Shiga (Japon) |xCommerce |xHistoire. 650 6 Commerçants |zJapon |zShiga |xHistoire. 650 6 Gestion d'entreprise |zJapon |zShiga |xHistoire. 650 6 Succès dans les affaires |zJapon |zShiga. 650 7 Merchants. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01017057 650 7 Industrial management. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00971246 650 7 Commerce. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00869279 650 7 Success in business. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01137062 651 7 Japan |zShiga-ken. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01207869 650 7 Shigaken -- shōgyō. |2jlabsh 650 7 Shōnin. |2jlabsh 655 7 History. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01411628 700 1 Greenberg, Larry, |etranslator. 700 1 |iTranslation of:Suenaga, Kunitoshi, |d1943-. |tŌmi shōningaku nyūmon. 830 0 Japan library (Shuppan Bunka Sangyō Shinkō Zaidan) 914 (OCoLC)on1107692192 |bOCoLC |cmatch |d20240717 |eprocessed |f1107692192 948 |hHELD BY PUL - 190 OTHER HOLDINGS 994 Z0 |bPUL
