While these essays regularly engage the mostly redactional scholarship surrounding the Book of Twelve, there is also an examination of various forms of literary analysis of final text forms, and engagement in descriptions of the thematic and theological perspectives of the individual books and of the collection as a whole. The synchronic work in these essays is thus in regularl conversation with diachronic research, and as a general rule they take various conclusions of redactional research as a point of departure. The specific themes, theodicy and hope, are key ideas that have provided the opportunity for contributors to explore individual books or sub-sections within the Twelve, and the overarching development (in both historical and literary terms) and deployment of these themes in the collection."-- |cProvided by publisher. 630 00 Bible. |pMinor Prophets |xCriticism, interpretation, etc. 630 07 Bible. |pMinor Prophets |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01892930 650 0 Theodicy |xBiblical teaching. 650 0 Hope |xBiblical teaching. 650 7 Hope |xBiblical teaching. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00960069 650 7 Theodicy |xBiblical teaching. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01149508 655 7 Criticism, interpretation, etc. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01411635 700 1 Athas, George, |eeditor. 700 1 Stovell, Beth M., |eeditor. 700 1 Timmer, Daniel, |eeditor. 700 1 Toffelmire, Colin M., |eeditor. 776 08 |iebook version : |z9780567695369 830 0 Library of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament studies ; |v705. 910 |cG0601mon |d3110-08 |gYBP |h998202 914 (OCoLC)on1226566418 |bOCoLC |cmatch |d20240717 |eprocessed |f1226566418 980 |i115.00 |j94.30 |n40030675083 982 |bFY22 |cf |n2022 |q32101112961295 986 |hBS1560 |i.T44 2021
