Summary note
From Monrovia, Liberia. Mentions receiving a note from Ethel Amory. Discusses her May 24 meeting with the President of the YWCA, who has been re-elected. Met with a Bahai woman who discussed her faith and why she left her job in California to come to Liberia. Hill is critical of Bahai and compares it to Mormonism, because she claims both groups think they know all the answers. Mentions Nels Ferre's book The Sun and the Umbrella and suggests that her mother read it. Miriam Miller, a sister, and a laywoman are all coming to visit in the next few days. Hill is leaving for Sierra Leone on Tuesday, while Amy Porterfield stays in Hill's house.
