Summary note
From Monrovia, Liberia. Hill mentions a flu epidemic going around the town, which has shut down the schools and movies. Lucerne Montague has a Lebanese boyfriend, but Hill thinks Lucerne finds him annoying. She notes that there are not many American or Lebanese people for young people like Lucerne and her boyfriend to date. The director of the World Council of Churches Study will be arriving the next week and Hill hopes to turn over some of her work to him, so she can have only one job, rather than two.
