Summary note
From Monrovia, Liberia. Hill mentions that she is now living in the "suburbs," 3.5 miles away from the YWCA building in Monrovia, and she is currently living alone. She has a job lined up in New York to start September 1959, and will be remaining in Liberia until the summer of 1959. Hill notes that Norma Bloomquist's language study of Kpelle is still not going well. Hill notes that the previous week ten African American students from Florida AandM were there. Mentions the United States Information Agency.
