Notes
Title and imprint from STC; printer's device on last leaf reads: Jehan du pre.
Actual publication date conjectured by STC. "There has been some doubt whether this edition was printed in 1500 or 1502. As both Brunet and Renouard agree that DupreÌ [Johannis de prato] died in 1501, it must be ascribed to the year 1500"--Duff.
Opening words of text, leaf 2a1r, read: Missale ad vsum Sarum incipit feliciter.
Folio number lxxxv (1st series) is repeated in folio numbering; folio number xxviii (2d series) is omitted in folio numbering.
Imperfect; lacks all before folio i (1st series), and folios xxxvii-xl (2d series).
Reproduction of the original in the Christ's College (University of Cambridge). Library.
