• Thomas Ludlow Ogden was a law partner of Hamilton. Hamilton's law office was at 69 Stone Street from 1800 or 1801, it moved to 12 Garden Street in 1803. Rutgers was elected to the NY legislature in 1784 and frequently reelected. He donated money to revive Queen's College in NJ, which was then named after him.
